(Dis) Ability, Education, And The Arts

Overview

We delve into the ways in which the arts serve as a unique lens through which we can examine and comprehend the impact of our perceptions surrounding (dis)ability on both our own lives and the lives of others. Throughout the course, we explore these inquiries through a diverse array of web-mediated activities, including videos, virtual visits to museums, interviews, and mini-talks. Additionally, we engage in arts-based experiences both online and within the community, providing opportunities to further explore and reflect upon the connections between disability, education, and the arts in a tangible and experiential manner.
